Training

We provide training for publishing staff and editors. All our courses are highly participatory with materials developed to suit the particular requirements of the customer.

We have also developed and run training courses on behalf of organisations such as ALPSP and Higher Education Press (one of the largest publishers in China) on a other subjects including:

  • copyright;
  • improving quality of publications;
  • introduction to scholarly publishing;
  • workflow efficiency;
  • marketing and online publishing.

We have run training courses in the UK and abroad, and have extensive experience of running training workshops in developing countries, particularly Africa.

Distance learning
We have produced distance learning materials and support documents on a variety of publishing issues, for example a course on copyright and selling rights for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and introduction to publishing issues for the FAO.
